Jollie & Ponypenny, remarking that Gibson's actions have prevented Scott from "getting into an awkward scrape;" discussing a possible trip to London in October to examine some papers in the foreign office and remarking that they must decide whether to delay the publication of his work on Bonaparte or "dispense with the materials in question."
